TJ Foglight Relay Conversion
2001 to 2004 model year instructions
Legal Notice: This modification may be illegal for street use. This write up is intended to be used for offroad use only.
If your TJ came with the factory fog lights you may have noticed that they do not work if you turn on your high beams. The following simple directions explain a simple, free and easy way of correcting this problem.
Step 1) Raise the hood on your TJ
Step 2) Locate the fuse box on the passenger side just in front of the battery
Step 3) Open the black plastic fuse box
Step 4) Pull the fog light relay (it is listed on the lid of the fuse box)
Step 5) While looking at the 5 pins of the relay, bend only the pin, as shown as the upper left pin in the photo, completely over
Step 6) Reinstall the relay, close the fuse box, close the hood and you are finished

1997 to 1999 model year instructions
Unfortunately, at this time I do not have pictures to help assist you in the conversion. Although it is a simple procedure, just like the process described above with some slight differences.
Step1) Remove the glovebox
Step 2) The fuse block and relays are behind the glovebox. To the right of the fuse block (or behind the fuse block) you will see two relays. Pull the relay on the right hand side. It should resemble the relay pictured above.
Step 3) Bend the #2 pin so that it resembles the pin on the relay pictured above
Step 4) reinstall the relay and reassemble the glovebox
