4" Rough Country lift(meh)
BDS adj. rear upper CA
RE Adj. rear trackbar
Tuffy center console...modified from original form....not finished though.

Husky floor mats
Nth Degree oil pan skid

Next major plans are a Teraflex long arm upgrade and 4.56's but now i may have a line on a rubicon D44 front diff with factory locker/4.10's so i may go with that instead.

That roll pic looks like what I did, I tried to drive around a deep mud hole,
and slid in sideways. Right into the deep part, and flopped on the driver's side.
No damage except for my pride. took forever to get all the mud out of my
Jeep.
I had to winch myself out of the mud and back on four wheels. It took us
almost three hours, I killed both of my optimas. Lucky for me I had a
buddy with jumper cables. We had to hook both of our jumper cables
together to get my jeep back on dry land and then started. _________________ 97 TJ tube fenders, stinger, 33x12.50, D30/D44, 3.73's, Front Aussie Locker, 3.5 inch lift, 1"MML, 1"BL, SYE, Tummy Tuck |

Ya i love that pic.
Was most fun i had since i bought it.
I basically didn't go far enough to my right and slid in...was a slow roll..like slow motion.I just held on to the steering wheel and ker-sploosh.
It pushed in the fender and my gauges still don't work and yes...i'm still cleaning out the mud in there.
The fender pulled right back out though.
I was with the jeep club so i was back out in about 20 minutes and she started right up no probs.I let it sit first of course to let the oil drain back but it checked out clean and full so off i went....soaked in mud.
Oh and i lost a perfectly good muffin too dammit
I was lucky too because i had recovery gear and my axe and tire iron and bunch of other stuff floatin around in the back and i remember them hitting my hardtop side glass...that scared me more than anything. No damage though.
First thing i did after pressure washing the mud out was build a recovery gear box for the back just like Stu's.http://www.stu-offroad.com/body/rearstor/storage1.htm |

yeah mine was a really slow roll too,
I went
"OH, $**#, No, no, no, no........ OOF, everyone okay?"
All of my tools are in a canvas zippered bags, enclosed
in a large thick canvas bag that is straped down to the floor
behind the rear seat. My highlift is bolted to my roll cage
just below the back of the rear seat. I have tuffy fender
boxes for all my other stuff.
Nothing is left loose in my Jeep after that flop on the side.
You can tell when someone has done that. They take precautions!!!! _________________ 97 TJ tube fenders, stinger, 33x12.50, D30/D44, 3.73's, Front Aussie Locker, 3.5 inch lift, 1"MML, 1"BL, SYE, Tummy Tuck |

Update:Now i'm long armed and back down to 4.5" lift.
I went with RC long arm upgrade but am gonna triangulate the rear soon.
Gonna remove my pillar lights and club sticker.I never use them and need rock lights anyways.
Any opinions on Pitbull Rocker tires?
Am thinking of getting the 35/12.5/15 to replace my blah-ha claws but need some advice, anecdotes, opinions, poems, lamentations, musings and overall good info on them.
P.S. Wow....this sure is an active site eh :p _________________ 97 TJ,4.0l,5spd,4.5"lift,35's,8.8,8274. |
