Hi, I am looking to a buy a 1997 tj, but the guy has done some rear end axle work. He put a D44 in and flipped it, and also changed out the suspension to leaf springs. I am just trying to get an understanding standing of why anyone would do that and what are the pros and cons of doing such a thing.
Thanks, any info can help. |

well i just about did it to mine but i ended up building all my own links. the reson poeple do it it dose not cost alot to do you can add to the wheel base at the same time for no money. there is lots of poelpe out there that have done it love it and others that have done it and then went back to links its all want you like in your jeep poor ride and stable vs flex, and good ride. i would say if the jeep is a good deal then go for it and if you dont like it then just change it back to a link set up.
in the end i love my link set up and i am glad i did not go leafs but then there is the time i have in to making my links and doing the 4 link work
good luck _________________ 04 TJ, 100wb and way more time then money....
